In progress!

Decided to make a fish room in my basement…just finished tonight, still adding frag tanks and do a few little things. But it’s running.

the sump is 1/4 acrylic…48x24x24, a bit messy for my first job, but next one will be cleaner.

Looks great.

a little narration on what everything is would be awesome.

I would move the power strip to the other side of the wood closer to the wall.
Fish tank equipment is infamous for gushing water at just the right angle to get to those strips.

That sump looks amazing. I would tell you to add a ventilation for the room. You can do that for cheap right now. That will save your butt. The basement is the best place for a fish room.
This is the air exchange I got from amazon

Once I finish it all up, I will explain it all!

Ryan, Looks nice! Agree...would love to see/read a little guided tour of the setup! I agree with Amado...basements can get real humid. I have two vent fans controlled by a humidi controlled switch in my basement.

I agree with the bsmt. I need to add one. The tanks operate at +7 degrees from ambient temp. And all my equipment is outside and energy efficient. It’s the humidity that traps the heat

Wow looks awesome! I wish I had a basement I would add a huge system down there. Good luck!
Thank you!!! Just dig a hole in your floor, and I’d bet you find a big water system under your house hahah.
