How many connections should I future proof myself with reefer 425 mixed reef

Currently was planning on (2)

- reactor
- UV sterilizer

I always do a manifold with 3. And then leave enough pipe before the endcap to extend as needed

I was debating the 3rd but couldn't figure out what gadget I'd even need. I think I'll do 2 with plenty of room for another.

Do y'all run your sterilizers off your return pump? Or have a second pump?

I'm thinking about installing a second pump for my sterilizer. Allows a smaller return and a more accurate flow thru sterilizer

Yes. Given the tangs. Everything goes though uv then into manifold. Then into tank

I actually think I am going to do something like this, so the pump first feeds the return line and then the manifold.

For increased flow it would be good to have a larger pipe diameter for manifold, then out to size plumbing you are using.
