Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Truly hope everyone got home OK! Evryone that had trees fall and or power outages, I hope everyone is oming out unharmed from all of this!
Well Mother Nature decided to put us to the test and made sure everyone had to deal with the worst rainstorm in a long time in order to come and have fun with all their fellow reefers! I am very happy to anounce that not only everyone came, evryone fit in the house!!!! ;D I can breath now!
Some thanks are in order...to Aquatic Obsessions for providing us with great frags for the meeting, RDF4 for the refractometer, Olivier for the ligh fixture, Audios for frags, Jwohler for frags, and Phil for the baby clowns! If I missed anyone, my appologies! There where so many items in the raffle that I felt we were back at MACNA!!!
By the way...highest raffle sales in $$ in recent history! Two months in a row!
Also thanks to Paul (redfishbluefish) for a very succesful PA Group Buy, all items went home and we will keep everyone informed on the backorderd items.
What else can I say, I had fun! Did you!? We also had our first BOD meeting so look for minutes very soon!
Thanks everyone! See you next month at Sid's house!!!
Great pics...feels like I was there! Glad the frags went to a good home, chaoscat was noticeably upset when he had to part with his corals. I told him to email me when he gets to Texas and well set him up!
Thanks for a great party Rod. Sorry I had to leave early, but I am not feeling too bad from the cat today, so I left in time. I really liked your discus collection.
Thanks again Rod for everything. I had a great time.
The weather definitely got the best of don and I. For any of you F-250 owners there is a spare tire lock key that you need to drop the tire down. Knowing that would have saved us about 20 minutes of tire changing fun in the rain. It was quite the drive going home as well with major areas without power and driving through a river or two.
Thanks again Rod. This was a good starting point of your presidency. Now that we have a benchmark, let's see how many new members we can recruit and pack the place next time...LOL...I had a great time at the meeting with great food and cozy company! Its a shame my day had to be ruined by that stupid flat tire and crummy ride home! :'( I think I finally pulled in about midnight and my seat was still wet the next day..LOL
PS you think we can ask the Mikes to sit out the next meeting so we can win some raffles? ;D
