I found plastic clamps but they are not big enough... any recommendations??

I suggest mounting your power stripe to the wall above your outlet. This will keep that off the floor and help prevent water from getting onto it
That's what I found too. They are 1 inch the biggest. But the hose connections are thicker than that....

Well the hoses are an inch but at the coupler looks like 1.5 or so

Chapter 6: Let there be light!
Came out pretty good. I got both hooked up to a kessil controller. We no longer need ambient light in the room...
....my wife is thrilled
....
On another note. I need to come up with a creative solution to hide the wires. I have a panel mounted on wall for controllers but all the power supplies, cords, plugs and stuff resembles as if a giant robotic squid climbed inside my stand.
I'm thinking build a small cabinet and place it underneath my wall panel next to the tank stand?
Or build one to go inside the tank stand?
Or wait till they invent wireless technology?
Ideas gentlemen?!

I hooked up the RODI to go straight into the tank. I will mix re salt in the tank itself for I do not feel like doing it a bucket at a time and I do not own a brute can....

KILL THE FLOORMAT!
I used the same type floormat under my 60g shallow as I had/have a wood floor and figured it would help protect it.
It acts as a wick for every drop of water lost during a water change, it absorbs every splash.
And it dissipates the water throughout itself
After a year of running my tank, we upgraded to a 90g.
In moving the 60s the rug was almost stuck to the floor.
Mold galore.
Floor underneath was warped, mold infused, and discolored (and still is regardless of how much were trying to clean without replacement).
Just set the new tank up on the boards, water will evaporate from under the stand.
Drill a few small holes in the back of the stand just above the floor to increase air circulation if you like, or add a few blocks or legs and raise it.
My last 2 tanks are like this on hardwood and it works fine.
The rug was a HUGE mistake.

Yeah pretty much too late at this point... eh I had the same thing under my last tank and seems to have done the job. Just gonna hope for the best...
Been on the bad side of this so I highly recommend keeping those strips off the floor

.... is not how my wife describes the toilet like sounds coming out of my tank.
The situation is I seem to have a rhythmic pattern going where the water rises and falls in the overflow and creates a tidal effect in the sump and is quite loud....
... it is of course my fault as usual I find a way to torment my poor loving wife. First there was the "salmon incident" now this...
How do i fix this? I have a durso pipe set up. So far what I have read says drill a larger hole in the cap. Just wanted to check with you guys before I take a giant drill bit to this thing and get a boo boo.

Yes put some holes in the cap. I had the same issue and I added holes to the cap and solved the issue
i have one of those bucket head wet/dry vac.( home depot) great for grabbing the spills asap and I'm sure you have a bucket or 2
I would agree with slowly increasing the size of the hole or using a small valve to control the air, The other thing is you want the tubes to not have any extra loops going into the sump. That is, go directly into the sump or go to the base of the stand then into the sump, but any more curves can cause the water level in the overflow to rise until it has enough force to flush( disclaimer, no scientific evidence of this, just that I did this and realized it was causing an issue).
