We can not sponsor events/speakers in non-Sponsor locations, so having a speaker to a store that is not a sponsor would be against our operating procedures. Additionally, we really try not to have speakers even at stores. We have so many that are sponsors that we would have to have 6 meetings a year at sponsor locations if we start down that road. Dangerous turf. That would eliminate being able to have meetings at people's homes.
I think announcing when you're planning to meet at our LFSs to show our strength and support is a great idea and we should continue to do this, especially in these trying times for our local stores.
