Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

Joe, my records indicate that your current membership expires on 1/30/2013. However, the previous BOD member who was taking care of the record keeping used the "last day of the month you paid" as the expiration date. The actual recurring membership payments setup thru paypal will likely happen on the anniversary of the actual date you created the subscription.
Also, your "Join Date" as shown on the left side under your avatar says Jan 2012... which is when you registered the screenname, not paid for your membership.
Since I was elected Secretary last year, I've been keeping the membership records and mailing out membership cards since I took over the job (April of 2012) so I can only speak of what was done since then. As to why you didn't get a membership card... it's possible that we had an improper address for you or that it was simply overlooked being that Jan. is sort of the holiday season and all.
In any case, if/when your membership subscription payment is received for 2013, I'll be sure you get your new membership card. FYI, I just checked the recent payments made in January, 2013 and there was not one from you yet. If you want to know for sure when it's going to be paid, login to your paypal account and check for recurring payments. It should be listed there.

Thank you for the detailed account. I went to my Pay pall account and I do not have any payments set up for auto. I can even view my past transactions. It may be because I recently changes my email address on the account. Any suggestions? Should I just mail you a check?

Let's wait until Feb. 1st just to make sure there really isn't one that you just couldn't find. If no auto payment has been made by then, we can either have you mail a check or setup for recurring paypal payments (preferred). Checks just involve human interaction and need to be mailed, received, deposited, etc.
Don't worry about any lapse in your account status if payment isn't made by Jan. 31. We'll keep it the same until we straighten this all out.

I have that part covered, that's one thing I learned quick in my 20 years in the hobby. By the way, how much does it cost? The membership that is.
