With membership, does group buys include any online retailers like liveaquaria or anything like that? I'm considering becoming a member

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

We do buys with Champion Lighting, Bulk Reef Supply, Premium Aquatics to name a few. We have not done anything with Live Aquaria that I can recall.
Do you get discount from those sites or a bunch of people just order together
What stores accept it? The aquarium center and the hidden reef both told me they do not.

I'd be in for a live aquaria buy. They have been great to the club over the years.
I wasn't sure if I was allowed to ask about creating a liveaquaria buy. I want to order a cleaner crew and maybe a fish but the shipping is so expensive. Would I have to suggest it to someone or am I allowed to create a thread asking people if they want it
Hey man. I definitely suggest becoming a member!! The Group Buys work like this...we have 1 group buy set up per month for everyone with various vendors. Those vendors usually give us a good discount and free shipping. Right there you make back your membership fees.
Then if you are a member you can start any group buy you want with any vendor as long as it is approved by the BOD.

Do the online retailers (bulk reef supply) give discounts? I'm going to become a member regardless but I'm about to order a return and overflow box so I'd wait if they did

what size overflow box re you looking for? I have an extra 700gph one from BRS. there was xome confusion and I ended up with an extra one.
I was gonna order a CPR CS90, I have a 55g. What kind of overflow is it & how much you lookin for? Maybe I'll save myself some time and order from you
hey man, if you want a cleaner crew, i suggest you go to reefcleaners.org. John always takes care of all his customers, great guy too. He also has a bunch of macro for your refugium, he has low stock right now due to the hurricane and all but he usually has cheato readily available.

I signed up for a membership but I still can't access the deals and steals section, do I need to log out and long back in?
Unfortunately my tank isn't drilled and with the water and rock in place I don't think it's an option at this point unfortunately
