I joined in May of 13, but didn't join (pay dues) until Sept of 13, so that date might not be right. Its not a bad idea to make those dates the same so users know when to pay dues.

One thing to consider with the dues is that if you paid via paypal it is a paid subscription that renews every year. That is unless you change the subscription status.
