Microbacter7 & Start2??

Does anyone have any experience with Brightwell's Microbacter7 or Zeo's Start2?

I have been doing research on both of these products and it seems that the use of either of these products is just to add bacteria to the tank. Is this similar to vodka dosing?? Vodka dosing is feeding the bacteria already in the tank and causing the bacteria to grow...but it seems that these other 2 products just add bacteria instead of grow it...is this correct??

Would there be any benefit over using one of these 2 products rather than vodka dosing?

Cool, glad to hear this. I'm going to do at lease a 50% wc and try dosing to wipe mine out.

Guys is there anything I should know about the Microbacter7 before I start using it? Should I use/do anything else with it?

The directions on the bottle are pretty much spot on, 4 drops a gallon daily for a high nutrient system. My glass also gets less algae growing on it as well, has helped a lot.

You can use it with Biofuel if you want to stick to Brightwell products, its also a carbon source like the Start your mentioned. I believe it to be fool proof dosage wise barring you dont dump a cup in at a time . I have noticed less algae forming on the glass from every other day to maybe once a week in having to clean it off.
