microbubbles from fuge

I am experiencing micro bubbles coming from my fuge drain. The fuge overflow is a glass-holes 700 gph overflow and I am pushing maybe 300/400 gph through it tops.

I have the fuge draining directly into my return chamber, which feeds a manifold & the display.

Any idea to help eliminate the micro bubbles?

Start with throwing a 90 facing down on the return pump. Looks like close quarters there ,is that the whole sump or just one chamber

you mean in the inlet part? that is one part of the sump

my display drains on the far left. then it is my skimmer then my return with fuge drain.

What's to stop you from putting the drain from your display "the rear pipe" in the left hand side away from the return pump ,any dividers in the tank ,can't really tell from the pic

there are dividers and prefer where it is so pods dont get tosed in the skimmer.

Can't squeeze a fart under my tank ,wish I was able to plumb a sump into a basement. I have a split level home and its a spare bedroom under where my tank sits ,anyway. Possibly adding another chamber then plumbing the return into that one. But just for starters I would add that 90 so the pump is sucking as close to the bottom as possible.. Maybe below the bubbles that are dropping in. If you look at my second pic I just redid that return adding the 90 shooting it off to the side ,not because of micro bubbles but because the bubbles popping would cause so much evaporation and was getting the back panel wet. Having it just slightly above the water level did wonders so it kinda lays the bubbles on top of the water not forcing them to be submerged them burst.

+1. or at least right after the skimmer. i rather have no bubbles. even then, your pod population won't completely die off.
