Thank you! So petco was doing a deal on open glass tanks I got it for 20 dollars for a 5 gallon tankwow, looks really clean!
was that a regular breeder and you removed the top edges?
Thank you!Looking good!
That tile cutter idea is genius! So I tried to cut the glass using a drill bit but that did not work so I had a tile cutter laying around and I used that and worked perfectly.

After cutting the glass I was able to glue it with aquarium silicon to prep for the sand.

Worked amazing I think when I build the bigger tank in the fall I will use the cutter to build the sumpThat tile cutter idea is genius!
One of my worries yes I may even reinforce with more silicon just incase on that one sideThis is awesome. Love the idea but will the glass shelf hold the weight and pressure of the sand over time? As the mangroves grow they will take up more sand room and push against the the glass or am I over thinking this?
looking good! You’re Welcome! Any TimeSo I did up beefing the silicon up more I got live sand picked up some mangroves I got tank water and rocks from @ThatPhillyReefer
Now I’m gonna let the tank do its thing and check for ammonia in a week

Yeah pretty cool fish I noticed this fish is more active when I’m not in front of the glassLove my tailspot even though I rarely see him.
So yes lol! But it’s not new water and has rock from an existing tank so it’s kinda like getting a big head start@Stephen8169301 make the images Medium next time, taking up the whole screen so its hard to see!
Is that an acro in a new tank? Keep us updated on progress~!
