Cleaner might be ok, I'd assume a sexy would be either a) impossible to see or b)eaten by something else you have in there... could be confused as to types but aren't the sand sifting stars the ones that usually starve in our systems?

If you go for a cleaner try to get one at least as big as your peppermint.

I agree with the Candi on the Sexy. We tried them in our 120 and they didn't last too long. After about a week, something in there determined they were edible! It was a bit of struggle to find them too. IMO, they are almost too subtle for a tank that size.

We have had no problems with skunks and peppermints mixed in our tanks. And porcelains are about as innocuous as it gets. They don't bother anything.

I, on the other hand I disagree :). I have 2 sexy shrimps, cleaner and a pepermint. I have them for a year or so. Initially I had 3 peppermints, but for some reason, after spawning, only one them survived (that is, I can see only one). Of them all sexy srimps are least shy and are visible really all of the time, perching and stroling on my Montiporas. Cleaner is a bit shy and is visible 50% of time (feeding and cleaning time), while I almost never see the peppermint.

I too have been able to keep Peppermints, Blood Reds, Cleaners and Sexy shrimps together in the past. Lost them in the tank electrocution around Easter. :( I now have all these same shrimp in the tank minus the Sexy shrimp but I'm looking for a few to add.

I have also heard of many people having trouble keeping them. I started with 6 sexies and ended up with only 3 during the first month. Had those 3 for over a year. I don't know what happened to the 3, just vanished.

Definitely going to be hit or miss type thing.

I have two peppermints, and a cleaner in my 90, along with 3 emeralds, and some scarlet and blue hermits. Besides the infrequent battle royal between blue claws, they all see to live in harmony.

I would also think that the sexy shrimp, while they are so cool, would be hard to spot in a 90, but if you go that route, let me know how you make out.

I guess it all depends where the shrimps (sexy) feel most secure. Mine are 90% of time very visible (75 gal) but that is because their favorite spot is in the plain sight. So, it might all be my luck. As I have said, mine love Montiporas and Ricordeas and will almost never be on a plain rock, so if you have something like that you might be in luck as well.
