I bought an orange fresh water molly a week ago, took 24 hrs to acclimate it to salt. It eats fine- frozen, flakes and started picking at film algae on the back wall, no interest in hair algae, but it does hang out with the canary blenny at times\

Give it a couple weeks and the colors will be amazing. When acclimated to salt the colors just pop after a couple weeks.

Yes. I used to put sailfin molly in my tank.

Most get mollies to take care of hair algae- not sure if any one type is better for it- but there are some cool colors/varieties- one could actually do a tank of them with corals I think

That is a yes. My sailfins had babies and the fish ate them sadly, they also attacked the parents which did not make.

Will reproduce and the fry will be food for the parents or anything else in the tank unless you can mve them to something to protect them for a while- a fry or pod hotel
