I have a monti digi that has been doing great-good growth and color, polyps always extended, etc.
But over the past week or so I’ve noticed the polyps are stripped clean in part exposing bare white skeleton underneath. Parameters are good, all other Corals are healthy. I look at night and don’t see nudis or bugs, I’m leaning toward blaming the emerald crab. I had used hydrogen peroxide in small amounts to blast some algae before this happened, could that cause this?
Third picture here is a stalk that I broke off the main colony (also visible in first pic)-that was halfway stripped, now I can see polyps on the white side where I saw none before.
Thoughts?
