The boxes that they ship in are usually filled from side to side with bags so there is little room for movement.

I don't think any lfs around here get too many if any colonies shipped to them. Mostly frags of sps. Maybe a few colonies of soft stuff but thats much easier. Instead of balloons try ziplock bags, they will be clean safe and more durable. I would break all the colonies off the rocks though it would be a huge pita to arrange the rock with colonies on it. Get some of the foam boxes from a lfs because it will be softer if a coral hits it in transport than a bucket would be. Good luck wit the move
