Well, holidays are over and I said to myself " I am worth it gosh darn it!" So I bought 2 mp10esw pumps. Got the first one today and I have to say, nice flow!! I was having a bit of cyano due to flow issues but not with this guy! My only peeve is the hummmm it makes.
Have to see how the wireless works when I get pump 2 tomorrow. My plan is to upgrade to a 90 this summer and I may....just may get a 3rd mp10. I like the "Herbie" view on flow. Well not all of it, just 70-60% of it:D

Play with moving the dry side around. I like putting my ear on the tank and listening while I move the dry side. You should get it to go pretty quiet.


EDIT TO ADD: I'm not familiar with 10's (I have 40's), but I 've got to believe they also have a glass thickness setting liike the 40's. Make sure you have that right.

No thickness adjustment on the 10's like there is on the 40's. You have to play with them a little to find the "sweet spot".

I currently have four 10's running on the new 120, and I have another one waiting for install. :D

Pete, turn the pump on the highest setting, and move the wet side slowly till you find the most quiet spot. Then it's set. From there you may/will hear them ramp up in speed. You will get used to it over time and it will quiet down over time. Enjoy them.
