Here is my extremely overdue thread for my 144 gallon half circle tank! Since I first got the tank a couple of years ago, I will try to remember as much as I can... I bought this tank while it was still up and running from someone who was getting out of the hobby. Throughout the years that I have had the tank, there have been many up and downs. For the first two or so years, I had z/p, LPS, and SPS, but I found it difficult to keep all of those types of coral in one tank so I went with a SPS dominated tank. Everything was great with the occasional few bumps in the road. After that 2 year period things started to go downhill. I still am not too sure exactly what caused all of my corals to die, but I think it was a combination of things. So after all of my corals had died, I was really depressed with the tank and I didn't want to do anything with it except just have my fish. After months of being down about it, I started to finally start getting some coral. This was at the past NJreefers frag swap. I met some new coral vendors and have been adding to my zoa and paly collection since then with for the most part smooth sailing. Currently I'm battling a brown algae problem which has already taken a few coral casualties. Over those few years, I have upgraded various equipment.
