My Blue Hippo turned on me.......

He is now eating all of my zoos. I can't believe this. I've been trying to catch him for two days now with no luck. I feed the tank 3-4 times a day. I had a big rock with over 200 polyps of zoos and I think there are like 50 left. He will not go in the fish trap with food. He likes the zoos better. I don't know what to do. There are to many corals in my display tank for me to start moving/removing rocks. After this guy is gone, I will never get a Hippo again. That also goes for a purple tang as well.

Rich, try Brian's method. He made a hook, baited it and caught the fish. It's worth a try.

Try putting your best zoos in the trap, if he likes them so much maybe he'll go for them? What about fish roe or blackworms?

Good luck.

i use a very small hook and some fishing line. Put a small piece of krill on it and go fishing! Worked for me on a small panther, Trigger, and Purple tang. This is the only way I could get them out. No way was i taking my rock out. I wish they made a mini speargun for this

thats good. what trick worked? I had a koran angel that was fine for a while then turned on me and started eating my zoos, luckily i didnt have too many of them so i didnt loose a lot, but cant keep zoos in my tank
