My Cats Home..Finally ..

My neighbor (drunken loser) hates cats and decided to trap some strays and bring them to the shelter . Nothing wrong with this except he was not bringing them all to the shelter and also caught MY CAT . He was only taking the sick cats to the shelter, actually had them picking the cats up because he did not like the smell . He was releasing the healthy cats somewhere else .I believe in the woods cross from my house. I was checking the area daily with no luck .
After two weeks missing and no luck checking the shelter I thought he might be gone for good .
Last night he showed up at my door . He was really skinny and dirty but that is not the worst part . I noticed that he has a large wound on the left side of his head . I rushed him over to Red Bank Animal Hospital and after trimming off the matted hair it is not that infected and not really that bad . Because of the small puncture holes they believe he was in a fight with another cat . I also had them catch him up on his shots and had him neutered .He will be coming home tomorrow and will not be going for any more afternoon strolls .
We just hope he heals fast and no diseases (rabbies) were caught .

Thanks all, Yep my cats also a puss but he goes out and obviousley gets his butt kicked . He will no longer be going out .

Glad your cats back!!! Your neighbor sounds like an A$$.

We don't let our cats out either. In fact my wife is a little paranoid about it.

I'm happy to hear that your cat is back and safe.. Last year my cat had gotten out and we couldn't find him for two weeks.. Turns out he got caught in our shed and since it was winter, no body realized it.. Thankfully he came out perfectly fine, just lost a few pounds..

Just picked him (Pepper)up from the vet , he looks good, just a little scared . They had to shave off a bunch of fur on the side of his face and I will have to make sure to keep it clean . He is wearing one of those radar collars for at least two more days . At least we will be ready for when TV goes Digital ;D .
He was never in a car before and traveled all the way home sitting on the dashboard in front of me looking at me and meowing away, needless to say a very, very long drive .
