My Fish Cam

I haven't really configured it completely or have a set spot for it... but thought it would be cool just to put it up for now

Camera: Foscam 9820W
Best viewed in IE.

I don't have IR on automatic, so when the lights go out, it's completely dark.
Just fed my harly's, so you might seem them with a starfish.
just got a new BTA, so you might see it move around

Let me know how it streams & if it's choppy. It's currently wireless. I turned off the sound because this is also my bedroom, lol.
Move the camera around all you like.

Thanks! You should be able to see my newly acquired rainbow bta.
I moved a lot of stuff around & mostly to the floor until the BTA finds its spot. My other bta that I newly acquired is hiding and is bleached :(

That's cool I wish you could zoom in and out...

If you used the 2nd link I provided you can by clicking on the image... but the quality turns to crap.
I assume that was you on there just now, lol. I saw the camera moving

Yea that was me.. My concern would be how far does the camera rotate? You said its set up in your bedroom...

Not quite 360, it pans 300. You can turn off the options for controls. I left them on for now because it can't pan to my bed nor do I have infrared on.

Nice... The first link worked for me, took a while to get it running. It was very choppy and the bottom half of the images would change color. The second link you posted would not load for me at all, just sat at the quicktime part. I am on Google Chrome on a Mac right now.

Not sure if you saw mine but check my signature. I am running on a basic webcam. I turned off the PTZ on it. Have the feed going through a web server just so that the video will not be in the software format.

Looking good though, you may need to tweak it a bit.

Awesome! Your camera is nice & clear!

I don't know if the software was meant for macs.
If you look now you'll see one of my harly's looking for food. (need to get a star for them today)(i also knocked the camera off center, so it's a little close, lol)

Kevin, I like the first one you linked better. The frame rate seems to be faster and there's much more control over the camera. If you look in the bottom right of the screen, there are 3 buttons: zoom out, zoom in, and default.

The 2nd one you linked lets you zoom in with click on the center... but I couldn't figure out how to zoom back out, which was frustrating.

Anyway, this was a good investment IMO and now you will always be able to see your tank from wherever you go!

Ah, I did not see the zoom in & out in the first link.
To zoom out on the second screen you have to double click on the picture as long as it's not in the center.

I was just up looking at my tank & noticed the camera was moving. I sometimes forget it's there!
