My new 40 breeder

Thanks man. I love it. I wasn't sure if I'd regret getting rid of the 180, but I'm sure now. Wouldn't change a thing. I run a seaclone 100 skimmer on it, no dosing,no gfo, and 12 gal wc once a month.

The hose on the left is from frag tank, I use a skimmer sock foe pool skimmers for the overflow from the 40.

I have a cheap skimmer, called aqua top, but it skims a lot and has done wonders for tank, I don't dose either and my rodi filter broke so I haven't done a wc and need one bad lol

Spent some time today moving my worst infested rocks of aptasia to the frag tank. Had a few accidents and ended up with a few frag of pearlberry, red Planet and superman chalice. I'm thinking of redoing the rocks this week and looking into a light for the frag tank. It will only have non photos and halimeda but thinking a clip on led.

Look at the par38 bulbs with a gooseneck type hanger, you can find them pretty cheap and if you don't really need the light, I think they will work fine.

Cool, I was looking iPhone at Lowe's today. Its a par38 4k for 15$. On the reduce rack from 54 bums.

+1 on the pearlberry and chalice .... Great looking tank

I usually let them heal for two weeks. They are only an inch or so but thats how big mine was a year ago.
