Finished the build on my stand and canopy. Light is in, sump is up and running.

Here is a look at the sump. Skimmer not running all the time. Used an old canister filter with 4 trays for filtration.
It is a 250 MH 20k. I have it from my old tank. Been out of the hobby for a while..... kids
Your tank looks greats. I'm think I might be getting through the diatom bloom too, I hope. It's would be nice to see some coralline algae soon. I have good calcium levels. I started testing it when I added the Lps. It's 500 without dosing anything. I use NeoMarine salt. My friend had a whole bucket of it he gave me along with an ro filter, tds meter & auto top off that he sold me cheep.
That's a good friend. Nice looking tank. I started with 90% base rock so it might be awhile for coralline.
Been a few months and no set backs. Just got my first sps thanks to a generous member. Thanks Ray. I broke a couple tips when mounting it. They might grow into frags i can help someone else out with later. Picked up a duncan and blasto at the last meeting. The duncan has a new head forming that can be seen when it is eating. Overall loving my tank.
