I was in the Hidden Reef the other day and they had bright yellow Sebaes. First time I've seen them in yellow.

This may sound like a stupid question but....Just how does one go about dying an anemone....fill the tank with food colouring?

This is not naturally colored Guess they got busted dying them and now had to say that they were not naturally coloured

I've heard about them being injected with die, but I wonder what the lifespan is after introducing a foreign substance into the body. And if it does live how long before it loses color, I would assume the color would wash out with time and/or growth as I've also seen in some freshwater fish.

They usually inject them with dyes or put then in a tank full of seawater with dye in it and they will take in the water.

Thanks, might want to add a pair of those to my tank someday

Sad Day

Im bummed out but so we move on in reefer land.

I got a call early thursday morning about a smell and a milked tank.

BIG THANKS TO WILL AND ETHAN FOR CHECKING IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All is dead in the little tank, leucokranos and anemone and hermits. The bubble tip got sucked into the power head and nuked the tank.

The big tank is ok no problems whatsoever.

Shouldnt have put an anemone in till i got back.

it might be another 12 years unless someone pulls off a miracle.

What Petco did you get this from . Please supply address. As far as gigantea are there purple dots under the anemone. On oposite side of tenticals. If no dots not a gigantea. LOL nice find

The one in Totowa on RT 46 had a few the other day. They also have some nice mushroom coral for $32.99 on a huge piece of LR.
