My Plate coral ate my Zoa's, anyone ever seen that?

Got home from work yesterday and my Plate was a little annoyed at getting slimed by my Flower Pot coral so he had moved over a bit. I have a loose clump of roughly 8 zoa's that float around the bottom of my tank & get kicked about by the hermits. When I went to bed I found the clump of zoa's being swallowed by my Plate coral. Is this going to be really bad for my Plate? After this picture I took my baster and nudged the zoa's out of it's mouth, they were definatly the zoa's and are definatly dead. I've never heard of a coral up and eating another coral.

dude.. thats the coolest plate coral ever! like a pit bull.. i have never heard of anything like that! interested to see if anyone else has... i do know that if something lands on a plate, they will pass it to their mouth

Yeah the plate coral is one hungry fellow, him & the flower pot coral sit directly where my pellets fall so they end up munching on alot of them. Love watching the plate move the pellets from the outside to the center and how big his mouth opens. Flower Pot is pretty cool to see the little branches mouths open and swallow the pellets, usually takes along time though. 6 line Wrasse likes to pick pellets off the Flower Pots mouths. Lot of pellets land on my Maze Brain to, not sure how/if it eats them. Has long ass tentacles but never seen where it pulls food into.

Cool looking plate though Sandee, love your webcams.
