Well a lil update. I broke down the 120g and moved it to my parents basement. Man i thought a couple of hours it would take. Well it took from 2pm to 4:40 am. The water was cold so I had to heat it up w/ 2 heaters so I could place my fish back into the tank. I just got back now from the house to feedd them. Things looking very good. I need Mexican turbos but cant find them locally

I tested the rock tank again today ammonia and nitrite 0 tomorrow gonna be cutting the steel to size for the new stand. Also gonna test the PO4 and nitrat in the 120g and rock tank. I also wanna set up the 20g I have and plumb it to the 120g. This will be set up for a qt for my new fish Im collecting for my new tank. So far I have

I started my thread before you ;) actually you have greater documentation then I, I like the idea of using the 2 400's, I'm currently running 3 250's but will be switching over soon. I'll be watching this :D

Here are some pics of the 120g now that I moved it into my parents basement from my house. It is being used to hold my fish until the new tank is ready for them.

I plumbed this into the 120g to hold the Idol and Achilles so that I know that there eating. So far the Idol is eating a ton of nori a day and picks clean every rock I put in there that has sponges on it. I figured ill keep them in here for 4 weeks and see if theres anything wrong with them and that there keep eating like they are.

lol Thanks didnt do anything speacil for the Idol she just right after it ;D The video did not upload right and damn it I erased i from my computer not knowing that :( Heres another one though

The idol is a beautiful fish! I wish you many many happy years with it! The achilles is gorgous as well. How's the tank cycle coming along?

I think you and I are alike that when you hear a fish is "hard to keep" you prove people wrong. My next "HTK" is going to be a regal. As soon as I can find a redsea regal angel that is already eating and about 3" (advised to get them while they're small) I'm gonna have to evacuate my Desarjini Tang and go with the angel.

For some reason it looks bigger than mine but the one I have is a little bigger at about 5". How long have you had the two of them.

Thanks Phyl :) The new tank will not be here until April 22nd. The rock tank the cycle only took a few days ammonia nitrite and nitrrate all "0" but PO4 was .98 im gonna test again tomorrow im off during the day im working at night. I used a lil trick for quick cycles ;)


Mike am very much like that lol. I have been in the hobby a VERY long time and know alot about this hobby only wish I knew it all lol. I have a guy for regals if interested I dont wanna post it here dont wanna step on the sponsors feet. I have a regal also and a sohal tang which eats like theres no tomorrow. I have that though at a friends house since he will be introduced last after the rest are all in and doing good.


Update
After work tonight I went to feed my fish. Well first I feed prime reef flakes to the 120 and said ahhh leets trry the achilles and idol tank. BAM the Idol ate it. Then I fed sea veggie flakes to the 120 and said lets try this now and BAM the idol ate it I then fed my regular mysis the achilles always eats it but BAM the idol ate it I was so happy to see the Idol just eating everything

Thanks :) im gonna try for more pics tomorrow maybe a video I put in new T5 bulbs on the 120. I had 2 UV actinics now I have 1 KZ Fiji Purple and 1 14k KZ coralbulb

Well I decided to call Auariums for you today and ask about the progress of my tank. Well apparently thy had a couple of bad glass shipments recently and are backed up. So the tank that I ordered in January will not be ready until the end of May. I am upset!!!
