All,
thank you for the nice comment.

Erna,
Yes, the TWO clown fish is in it. but, unfortunately, all the other ones did not make it. :(

here is the story:
  • i have TWO tank raised clown fish, got them 2 years back.
  • got the RBTA and hopefully see them host in it (almost a year past, nothing...)
  • am thinking i have this 210 gals "BIG" tank, should be able to get some wild caught clowns to show the local how to have fun (hosting in the RBTA)
  • so i got 4 new clowns, put them in the tanks (about 2 days before you stop by @ my place)
  • they are fighting like crazy everyday, about a week later, only two left (one local, one new comer)!!
:'(

Very nice pics David. Thanks for sharing!

I love your fish room. I believe a Reefer is only as good as his fish room. You certainly qualify ;D

Nice pic of the flame scallop. One of my favorites. I would sit in front of my tank when the lights went out and watch the lightning bolts run across its lips.

Wow, now THAT is cool!

Yea, my friend Scott had somewhere around 10 of them in a 180g. Once his lights went out it looked like a lightning storm going off in his tank. Was a really cool effect. Makes the tank more interesting to look at during the moonlight phase of the tank.

Only thing about the scallops is you have to be careful of what fish you have in the tank. Some fish like to eat its tenticles. It was interesting though. I put in a scallop and had a few nippers. Then once I got a RBTA, the nipping stopped. I think the nippers may have though that they might get a sting from the scallop??

I definately plan on getting a couple for my big tank once it is set up. The do require special care and spot feeding to maintain their health. I wouldn't recommend them to the casual collector.

cool!!!

i am going to get some of those electric stuff... but hand feeding them could be a problem, cause they like to move under some rocks that i can;t easily reach to...

Baxreefs,
I will try to get more pictures of the fishroom (basement)... may be over the weekend, this week is kind of busy...
