Nano Cube Lighting Problem!

Hey guys I have been having problems with my nano cube lighting. Every time I turn it on it like shorts out and shuts off all the power to the plug which then shuts off the filter and heater as well. Has anyone has this problem or have any idea how to fix it? I just had JBJ send me a new ballast but it didn't change anything? I put the lighting plug into a timer today to see if it would change anything, but it shorted out again. Please help if you know anything about what I am talking about? I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and if this shuts off while I am gone everything will die with no heat/light.

It sounds like you have bad wiring. There's a short that's tripping the breaker. I wouldn't run it until you find the bad wire. Look for a little charring around connections.

Remove the acrylic cover and take out the bulbs, check the pins in both the bulb and socket. Remove the heat shield and take a look at the circuit board, fan plugs etc. Any type of water damage or corrosion will be visible, sometimes it turns green on circuit boards.
