Need help with an ID

Anybody have any idea what this might be on my rocks? They've been growing steadily and spreading all over. They're soft and clear

I got those growing between my palys, always figured it was some type of sponge but it hasn't harmed them so I just let them be. Curious to get a conformation on what it really is lol.

Looks like the initial tubes of a green or yellow sponge. Harmless. Over a few days/weeks there may be some sponge filling in between the tubes.
They're not competitive, will settle into a small specific area, and do the thing they do best, which is nothing.
If they fill in between the tubes they're much less ugly.
Will drop a few pics from my 30g when lights are on tomorrow.

I had a feeling they were some sort of sponge. Only checking because they're growing pretty much all over all my rocks and I'm starting to hate how much of it there is

You can try squirting peroxide on them with a pipette. Longspine urchin won't touch the stuff, I tried. I think there are other inverts that eat it but then your gonna have starving inverts and isn't really an ideal solution.

I also have a section of them. I have tried to scrub them off but they grow right back in same place. If anyone knows of somthing that likes to eat them. Awesome. Please share the info.
