Me & my fiance moved into a condo/apartment complex last May on the 2nd floor. A lady in her late 30's-40's lives below us. She leaves her TV on the WHOLE night. We wouldn't mind, but it's right above our bedroom. You can clearly hear the voices because it is that loud. We even sleep with a sleep machine on & it over powers that. Last month we finally went to management & told them(they told us to come to them & not speak to the neighbor). They called our neighbor & let her know someone filed a complaint about TV noise. It stayed quiet for maybe two days & went back to the same ole routine. We told management again & they said they will write her a letter. Basically after that, they could relocate us or when her lease is up not renew her. I am not going to relocate for something that can be fixed.
This morning I woke up at 4am to use the bathroom. I laid back in bed & I hear her TV. I get frustrated & go upstairs into my loft to sleep. I left her a sticky note asking if she could PLEASE turn down her TV or off at night. I'm going to be going to management on my lunch break today & complain again. Sadly, I'm keeping a log just in case I have to get the police involved. If this continues during the night I'm going to ring her door bell at that time & ask her to turn the tv down or off. I will do this until she stops. I pay a good chunk of change to live where I am.
This is just a rant. Anyone have experiences?
