I swear everytime I go away something dies in my tank. This time it was a blue clam. looked great a week ago.

could be the weather? ( continuously hot weather?)

my long time foxface died yesterday for no apparent reason (after 7 years in my tank!), found him stuck on the side of a TUNZE powerhead.

It sucks! I am also thinking it is the weather this summer. It has been really hot for a very long period of time.

Who did you leave at home?


Round up the usual suspects and look for clues. In you case, floating soggy Cheerios or a pacifier bobbing in the tank.

Look on the bright side - there will be a lot of clam sellers coming to our frag swap.

I know EXACTLY how you feel as I lost one of mine from last year's swap. It was a beautiful maxima also.
