Like your aquascape. Looks very natural. Lots of good spots to put frags.

Thanks man, it was a lot of trial and error and a lot of epoxy to make the shapes I wanted. I hate the piled up rock look. And when the rock takes up all the room in the tank and leaves no room for fish or for the coral to actually grow out. uploadfromtaptalk1423653571124.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653604717.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653642410.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653672964.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653710542.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653759600.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653792320.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423653870119.jpg

So all is going well and I can't believe how fast things are growing bases. I've had many systems in the past, this is my first time going way overkill with a Skimmer and using LED's. So I'm not sure if it's the combo or one better than the other. But I can say that within a week I notice new growth along the base and the frags start to get more "nubs" I did turn the lights down a Bit Bc I do feel the coral is getting a little too light on the most lit surfaces. I run my blue channel at about 60% and my white/uv at about 20% blues are on for 10 hours and the white for 5 the lights are about 10 inches above the water surface. I'm using the Chinese eBay specials (165w dimmable full spectrum) so any thoughts on that would be good. I'll see if I can take a before and after pic of one of my frags to show the growth.

This is a 2 week difference. Yes it's not much But if you look close you will see the branches have multiplied and look incredible.

Got these coming as well. The acros is called red ronnin from Aqua SD, will the owner had a few cooking and they are extremely rare. But I got one. And the mushroom I actually won on a Facebook live auction for 50$

So after a hiatus, and a life change, and a move... I figured is stop in... i have the same tank.. different house. And i believe alot better setup now.. without getting into all the personal stuff, heres the tank now.

It's been up for almost 3 years now, I've upgraded from the chinese black box leds to 4 hydra AI(original) lights. 2 52s and 2 26s. I recently removed my MPs and replaced them with nero5s (love them, but annoyed with the programming on random. You cant antisync them)

I'm running an m2 return pump which feeds my manifold. The manifold feeds 3 reactors. One is and mr1 for gfo(which i only use when needed) the other is a vertex 1liter which I have carbon and zeolites mixed which runs all the time. The 3rd reactor is a vertex 6D calcium reactor with 2 little fishes media in the large chamber and brs large grain argonite wixed with zeo mag in the smaller chamber. Its controlled by a milwakee ph controller and runs about 6.8ph I have been using a drip count with a needle valve but just bought a kamoer doser to run this off of(which will be installed soon)
My tank is mostly a complete mix, I love my acro's, always have, but a reef that is frozen isnt a reef in my opinion.. a reef should move and sway and be full of inhabitants..
I have a ton of life in my system(some would argue too much, but everyone is fat an healthy and believe it or not I can manage nutrients below 4ppm nitrates, po4(red sea pro) varies between .1 and .2 (milwakee photometer)

Ok time for the pics... if theres any questions feel free to ask.. hope all is well to everyone I haven't talked to in a long time.

The tank was the tank I got years ago when i was in Columbus, from a guy in philly, which leaked and I had to reseal it lol. . decided to keep it when I bough this house. Eventually gonna have a 60 x 32x 26tall tank built. I just bought greybolts skimmer for my sump upgrade.
