Just wondering if anyone here is running the 40?
I just preordered the 25 and was wondering about quality and sound levels from the pump.

I have the 40 on my tank with 2 6105's and its amazingly quiet! I've had it for a little over 2 months now with no issues at all. It was a little noisy at first but after the first week it has been dead silent.

I have on my 90 display and this thing is great. It's replaced an MP40 and a MP10 on there. The only "noise" I've noticed is on Else mode when it's ramping up. Not much different than the noise of an MP40 as it ramps up and down.

I run mine on else and it's totally silent. Sometimes I check it just to make sure it's still working.
