New sump and plumbing setup

If you find the name let me know. It's a std 40 breeder and the glass is fairly thick. I don't remember exactly. My brother in law got it done for me right before he passed away. He was in the glazer's union so he had all kinds of contacts when it came to glass and windows. Anyway I don't even know where mine came from so a name would be helpful. I'd do acrylic if it was easier to come by. I know the have some at lowes, not sure if the pieces are big enough.

Take a lesson on you tube about glass cutting. The tool is about $5 and the process is pretty easy. After watching a couple people do it on you tube you will feel brave enough to do it yourself. I think one guy I watched was actually building a sump/fuge that he was cutting glass for. HTH

Thanks Jose. Very nice of you to offer. I think I'm ok. I just have a lot of little stuff to do. If I can manage to get the (house) plumbing done before my wife realizes that the house water is shut off I'll be all set. The rest will be smooth sailing.
Is your new tank "up" yet? I'm gonna have leftover green hammer if you're interested - I can bring it when I return the stock tank

My tank is almost cycled. I would say another week and it should be complete.
Sure I'll take a piece of the green hammer.

For the record, getting baffles out of the sump to reconfigure SUCKED. I'm back to a plain old 40b again. The DIY glass cut won't work. Looks like what I have is tempered. My brother in law probably got it at the same cost. Anyway I'll see if that glass can work or I'll get some acrylic instead. The clear sealant adhesive was WICKED strong. I'll take my chances on it adhering for internal baffles. They don't have to be totally leak proof
