I did have a dosing pumps attached to my reef angel controller. But I really did not like the pumps they were not very accurate pumps, also I do not like that I have to hook my reef angel to the computer to make changes. These are made in China but from what I have read have had good reviews. We shall see. I plan on dosing Mag, calc, alk, and maybe amino acids and bacteria. For now just mag, calc, and, alk.

I also got these (which I was very excited to get!)

Neck ext for my int 5000 reef octopus skimmer. I can see the difference already I can hold the bubbles in the skimmer long and I was able to get rid of my pvc stand so now it sits on the bottom of the sump. YAY Dance

I also changed the way my bio pellets got feed to my sump.

I have wanted to do this but just got around to it. I am hoping this will help my little cyno problem. Time will tell!

I also ran some new plumping in my fish room and water changes, top off, and salt water mixing got so much easier. I love it!

The above is my 45 gallon RO water next to my sink. This has a pump in it so I do not have to take it out. Maybe to clean but that is it. You can see my skimmer stand :D

These two pictures are of my auto top off can, and my pump that is in my sump. I just love that everything has pumps and I never have to move around vinyl tubing any more!

I like the skimmer mod for the reactor outflow. Will doing that change the amount of water or air that the skimmer pulls? I've been trying to come up with a way to get the outflow from my pellets to go directly into the skimmer

It seems to be pulling more air, well getting better bubbles in the skimmer. I am interested to see what the skimmer looks like in a day or so. I still have to fine tune the water level in the skimmer thou. Not sure if the pump has to pull less water because of the flow from the reactor but it seems very good so far. For some reason the skimmer definitely looks like it has more micro bubbles.

Keep me informed please. Right now I've just got the tube just kind of sitting there so I'm sure most of the flow misses the skimmer altogether.

That is exactly why I did it. From what I understand the output water can help cyno. I tried to zip to the output close to the pump, but I have no luck so I bet all the water went right on bye...

Well I definitely think that it is helping produce better skim mate. And now all the water from the reactor goes into the skimmer so I would say I like the mod!
