John, the previous owner of Underwater World in Roselle Park retired. I was afraid the store was closed when I drove by and saw all the tanks gone and the windows uncovered. Turns out 2 gentlemen who's names I can't recall have taken it over and given the store a great new face lift. They're still in the process of setting up, but have a very impressive frag tank already up and running with some gorgeous acans, acros and too many others to list here. I'm very hopeful that this can turn into a great local shop, and my experience with them after one visit is already above and beyond what I had hoped for.

Underwater World is my favorite shop around. The new owner is a nice dude and he hooked me up with good deals on very impressive corals. I also got a really nice Lubbock's wrasse from him that is stunning. I can't say enough good things about this store and I hope he does well. I drove two hours to trade my wall frogspawn that was overgrowing my tank for a smaller fluorescent green and purple branching fogspawn. He has the goods.
I live 9mins from them, I gotta go check them out tomorrow maybe.. Do they have a website or do you know there hours?
I talked to the owners son allot when I visit. I've been trying to get them to become a sponsor but haven't had any luck. The place is coming out really nice. They have this look-alike credit card that gets swiped when you purchase something. You occur points to get discounts or freebies (something like that). I was also talking to them about MACNA and got a positive feedback from him.
