Newbie Coral Question

I have never keep corals before. I recieved my final shipment of Live Rock yesterday from Tampa Bay Saltwater. Included in the shipment were a few corals. Should I glue these to the LR using Cyanoacrylate glue?

sorry about the crappy pics, my wife took our good digital camera to work with her.

also included in the shipment were 6 anemome's. 3 small ones and 3 decent sized ones. they seem to be doing ok so far. i really hope they make it, there is sure to be some cycling affect with all the additional LR that I added yesterday.

where the corals shipped attached to the live rock you purchased? and also was it in water? If not most of the organic life i.e. corals, anemone will most likely die if not shipped in water. I'm surprised they would ship the rock with all that stuff on it. Maybe the rules within the USA are different from elsewhere, I know that rock imported has to be devoid of any corals or they are seized by customs.

The LR was from Tampa FL. The corals and anmemoe's were shipped seperate from the LR, each in its own bag of water. They are all very much alive. I drip acclimated them for about 4 hours before adding them to the display tank.

Harry - fyi TBS ships the LR in saltwater. You can look up their website but they did have the legislation in FL changed for "aquacultured" LR.

shrooms yes - xenia - 50% of people say they can't stop them - and 50% will say they whither away and die.

I'm pretty sure for the latter you could keep trying/getting from the successful members....

gotcha, well i am not adding anything else to my tank for a while. gonna take it SLOW and just try to keep everything that is already in there alive! but i will probably add some shrooms later on down the road.
