I sent in my G3 for repair.
It was unrepairable.
Ecotech contacted me offering an upgrade to a G6 for $299 and, as my diffuser wouldn't work with the 6, they'd throw in a free diffuser as well.
I accepted and also asked about a refundable purchase of $80 I made moons ago and they honored it, so $220.
I began musing about a G6 on one side of the tank and a G3 over the other.
I asked about loyalty discounts and he said they're not a thing at Ecotech and he wished he could help.
He then asked me if there was ANYTHING wrong with my other G3.
I mentioned it worked fine with an occasional intermittent connection to Mobius and an occasional flash.
He mentioned I should definitely send it in for them to look at.
So I did.
They got back to me saying the battery looks like it had a small amount of rust on it that may impede future use.
Offered me a second G6 at $299 with another complimentary diffuser.
So, 2 G6 Blue Pros with diffusers, for about $550.
Keep in mind I did lose both my G3s (one functional) and insured the lights I sent back at $30 each, so total out of pocket was about $610 (and a 'trade in').
Was still pretty cool customer service and they went out of their way to ensure I was happy.
They get an A+.
And these lights (G6 Blue) are f&*^$(g amazing.
