NJRC Holiday Party! December 13th 2008

It's too bad that that is the only way to get people to come to a meeting.

There are no raffles supplied by the club. With the push for MACNA and just having the swap it's a bit difficult to scrounge up any more donations from our more than generous sponsors. We need a break once in awhile too, this our meeting to do just that! :)

Feel free to buy/sell or trade at the party though!

I understand your point, but also would be wiser to save money for inverts or new lighting in my case. I would love to come, but got to make decisions.

Tom, we're looking forward to seeing you and the boys. Tell Steve I said Hi! LOL!

With the speaker and great dinner it will be a great time if we're 20 or 200 (well alright, we'll only be 100 tops since that's all the room holds anyway)! It really is nice to be able to relax and enjoy the company of our NJRC family!

What's the schedule for this going to be? I see it's got a 5 hour slot like a meeting, but is there going to be like a planned time for eating, speaker, meeting, etc? My wife is thinking about coming with me, but she is not a reefer and 5 hours might be a bit much for her - so I'm just trying to see if there's an "optimum time" to be there.

There will be Appetizers (1-2) then we'll probably have Randy speak before dinner (2-3). Then we'll have dinner, then dessert.. (3-5) and then just socialize. It will be mostly social, just enjoying each others company, with a little bit about feeding your reef in between.

What a fabulous day with some of my favorite people! Thanks for making this such a great day, gang! Special thanks to Deb for setting it up, following through, and managing the event for us.

Maggianos has to be some of the best food! Mmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks Randy for making the trip down to speak for us! I learned some new things today even though I've seen your presentation before!

Thanks to Chris & Family for joining us. It was good to have our IceCap family there with us.

Thanks to everyone at NJRC for inviting us to your Holiday party. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food (I still feel stuffed).

Happy Holidays and wonderful new New Year.

We had a great time as well. Great people and the food really was amazing. We researched it further and found out that there is a Maggianno(sp) in King of Prussia, PA which is near most of my family. We will find an excuse to go there soon. Thanks to Randy and Chris for showing their support - they are part of the family.
