We here at New Jersey Reefers have some exciting news for you. Our new website is going live August 20th which we are very proud to bring you. We know it has been a rough year with the site crashing and losing a years worth of posts. We want to thank you for your patience with getting the site back up and then dealing with the bugs in the site. It has been a very trying time for us and we are looking to put this whole situation behind us. We also appreciate the people who volunteered to help us out and were working very hard behind the scenes to keep this running.
So starting August 20th we will be migrating over to the new website which will be run by Vbulletin. We have been testing this over the last few weeks to get all the bugs out. If you find anything wrong with the site, please e-mail us. There will be new features that people have been requesting for a while which will make viewing and posting much easier.
VERY IMPORTANT: We need to make you aware that you WILL need to reset passwords once the new site is live as passwords will not transfer to the new software. In order to make this as painless as possible we ask you to please check and make sure you update your email address in your NJ Reefers.org profile at this time. Once the new site is live you will need to use the "forgot password" function to have a new password emailed to you. Once you enter your email address a conformation email will be sent to you. Please open this email and click the link back to the site. At that time a second email will be sent to you with your temporary password which you can then enter back in the log on section of the site and switch it to any password you like.
Please be aware that Avatars did not transfer over. Make sure you know the location of your current avatar if you would like to continue using it.
If for whatever reason you can't log in after the upgrade please email officers@njreefers.org with your user name and we will update the email address in your profile.
We look forward to seeing you all on the new website and keep an eye out for the Frag Swap information. We have the date set on November 12th, more information coming soon.
