Working on a pretty cool project at work. We are cleaning the pond in a huge eagle exhibit. The exhibit houses 6 bald eagles and 3 golden eagles along with a roughly 10,000 gallon pond. The eagles are all rescued and cannot fly. They are in the exhibit while we are working. It's pretty cool and a bit scary at the same time. Here's a few pictures from this morning before we started cleaning

And just a bit of the mess we are there to clean

Hopefully I'll remember to take some after pictures tomorrow.

They are impressive predators! A few things to remember, hawks and eagles follow hand movement, owls follow your eyes. It's not the hooked bill to be concerned with it's the talons that have a locking mechanism....ouch!

They certainly are. It was very intimidating at first, they are much bigger than I thought they would be. But they are fairly used to people and shy away while we are working.

That's awesome!! I imagine it could have been grimey too. I have a tree service and have been eye level with some nesting eagles on the Patcong creek
