Octopus and Jellies on the divers den!

an octo would be so cool. I saw a vid of someone who fed him/her fiddler crabs. The freaky octo could go thru the overflow grates (about 1/2 wide) and out into the display to eat. It's a shame though the lifespan is short.

I was at TFP a few months back and they had a pair of Octos for sale.

Def cool. Only problem is you need a separate tank for that kinda stuff. Feng had a blue ring octo a while back that was awesome lookin. I think it's pretty poisonous though

Well in think just in general you need a seperate tank for these guys because NOTHING else other than the CUC (which im not even positive on) can be housed with Cephalopods and I think jellies can only be in their own kind also.. I must say though they look amazing in a tank!

Yeah seaworld had a big cylinder tank with just jelly's, I imagine it has to be low flow. Can't imagine them being good swimmers

Or how much? Abosuletly fish has one single for like $120!!

I don't recall - but i thought it was definitely under 3 digits.

I think the other concern with the octo is if it squirts ink - the chemical does not easily get removed and you will need to run a lot of carbon to ensure it is quickly taken out before the tank fouls.

But they are by far the coolest invert I've seen.
