i just noticed the other day every time I shut my power heads off to feed my ato goes on. This is both tanks too I shut down to feed and a min later the ATO sends water in. It’s only a small blast just curious why?
more than likely when the ph are one the water movement is covering the ato sensor. when you turn them off and the water calms the sensor is seeing that water level as low
If your ATO sensor is in the same tank as the power heads, the turbulence created by them will cause the sensor to read a higher water level than if the pumps are off.
I totally agree but that’s just the thing. My ATO sensor for my bio cube is in the return section of the in tank sump. Also my main tank is set up exactly the same. ATO is in the return section of my sump. Actually now thinking about it while writing this my main tank has a gyre pump that pushes water directly at my overflow. My nano I power head is in front of the overflow. But idk
