So, our family has been extremely busy lately. We received a call from two different friends shortly after Maddie died telling us about a baby girl who was going to be born in March. They knew that the mother was putting the baby up for adoption and thought of Andy and Linda. They had looked into adoption about 7 months ago and had been told there was a 4-5 year waiting list for a white infant. We have been racing around trying to expedite the process. Which, turned out to be a very good thing for Haylie Lynn was born three weeks early on February 16th.
Also, we were driving a few weeks ago, and I noticed when we pulled up to a red light that our one headlight was out. I mentioned it to Doug who turned the lights on and off. When he turned them off, I noticed flames creeping out of the hood. We pulled over and watched our car go up in flames. Thank God, it didn't happen when we were driving on the highway, and that Doug, Jeff and I all got out of the car.
