I have a Seneye Par meter available for rent. This is a full setup, including the following:
- Seneye par meter.
- 3 foot clear acrylic rod (so you don't have to stick your whole arm in, blocking the light, giving you false readings).
- Tablet (Seneye requires a connection to PC to display readings. The tablet is preprogrammed with the Seneye app. Follow the instructions provided and it should take you directly to the Par meter display, making this truly a plug and play experience).
- Hand strap so you can hold the tablet with one hand while maneuvering the Seneye with the other.
Rental rates:
Per Day Price - $25 for rental period of one full day, not including the day you pick up, and must be returned on the following day. Additional days will be $25 as well.
1 Week Special Price - $85 for rental period of 1 week. Setup must be picked up over the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), and returned on the following weekend.
There will be a refundable $50 security deposit, which will be refunded upon returning the unit in good condition. There will also be a late return fee of $25 per day it is late, which will be deducted from the security deposit. If the late charges exceeds that of two days, the remaining balance will be due upon returning of the unit.
I've drafted up a simple rental agreement, to protect both parties. This includes various things, like the agreed upon return date and rates, expectation of returning the unit in good working condition, not taking the unit and running away, etc.
At this point in time, this will only be available for NJRC paid members. Not looking to ship the unit unfortunately. Trying to keep rental rates low, shipping costs for a 3 foot road and sensitive electronics would be counterproductive. Pick up and drop off will be in East Hanover, NJ, unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon.
Those of you who've met me, hopefully know I'm pretty flexible, the renters agreement is just a way to make sure I can share the unit with others, without taking all the risk of someone just disappearing with it.
The renters agreement will be signed, and if you want a copy to take with you, it can be made available. Mostly generic stuff from the template.
PM if you have questions. Par meters are expensive, for something you won't use every day. I got this set up for myself, but wanted to share with others so you won't have to make the same investment.
