Pc Gaming

So basically, I should scrap both pc options?
As I said let me get out of work and I'll look into it. I see you don't care about asthetics so maybe we can go with a little higher 1060 or equivalent for not much more. The good thing about PC's is you can always upgrade !

So I have done some research. I love computers lol and I love picking parts.

Here is a computer that would be considered top tier for entry gaming. It's got a very good gaming processor (I prefer intel over AMD - from bad past experiences & personal preference, a little more money but well worth it) It has a 1660TI which will PUMP games on high settings. You can always go for a cheaper GPU however, you will find that you can't go much cheaper than this.

Here is a slightly less version of the above

My breakdown of the two links you gave:

  • The ryzen 3 1200 is equivalent to the i3 processor line. Most all games recommend i5 minimum for computing power
  • Traditional hard drives are a NO never ever get one for your boot drive... they're good for games & storage. You want your OS on a SSD drive.. I don't get how computers are still sold with traditional drives
  • It comes with 8gb of ram which is okay.. however, another 8gb doesn't cost much more. A quality of life improvement.
  • Graphics card is bottom bottom of the bar. It will get you by but barely.
  • Not so cool case... lol
  • Ryzen(TM) 5 2400G is a good entry level CPU for gaming.. however requires higher clocked ram to reach full potential (pricey) Will get the job done
  • RTX 580 is a huge improvement to the 1050ti... Will provide a much more enjoyable gaming experience.
  • 1TB traditional drive... again NO
  • Overall much better than first option however, if you look at the can I play it.. it doesn't allow you to play some of the most basic games.. such as fortnite & apex legends.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.. I can work some other stuff if you'd like to see

Ok, so based off your recommendations, is there anything out there comparable? That kinda checks most boxes that wont cost me an arm n a leg?

I'm sorry if I seem dumb, but I am at this. If it's not reef related, I just really dont know much about this stuff. I can go up in price if I need to, but I really just need to see what I'd be getting into.

TRIO,
Are you running in WoW or WoW Classic? Drop me a server and your toon name.
I ran WoW European servers from Alpha testing to full game, epic raids and tier sets, actually sold a character years ago to fund a ticket back to the States.
Classic WoW has me mulling about again after 12 years, in both new and classic mode.
My old guild is still active and anxious to have me back, but I'm more into a casual questing with buds thing.

I'm not that's the thing, I've been a console man but now I'm making the switch. I've gotten this bug after seeing war hammer being played on a pc

I would NOT reccomend that 80 plus bronze PSU - you're asking to tank your PC
