I have a few years back. The mail order operation of PetCo is not the same as the stores. Fish were delivered directly from the distributors Petco just do the money transaction. So in a sense similar to LiveAquaria.

I ordered a Tanaka's Wrasse from them a few years back when they had trouble getting one in the store for whatever reason. It arrived well packed and healthy, but, as Joe said, it was not in Petco packaging. This was a few years ago.
I know people oft talk of the Brick Petco (and rightly so) as the exception to the rule. If you give them a call and mention you're from NJRC and you saw a good price online, they may well price match and order it in to the store for you. They're pretty good to us and know most of the local NJRC reefers by name.

I've had similar experiences recently. A friend of mine recommended I check it out. The TR Petco is a dump. Andrew not only got me 1$ per gallon price he told the cashier to give me the 10% online discount. That's service
