Phosban Reactor

it all depends what media you have in it, many of us use it for GFO, carbon and few people with the smaller system are using them as a zeo reactor.

Right now I am using a 30 gallon sump with fuge and skimmer. Maybe this would help my system.
I have one on my system and it definitely made a difference in the color of my corals. I also helped with algae growth in the tank. For the price it's a cheap remedy.

It might help you I have one running and well not a huge difference that I notice. But, when I used Phosban in my nano it made more of a difference honestly. I think my fuge is working better now....of course my fuge is the size of my old nano ;) so that is not fair.

Looking at it I sort of realize that maybe we made some assumptions. You know that skimmer are mechanical filtration, live rock and macro algae is biological, well Phosban and similar products are chemical filtration in that they remove phosphates and often silicates from the water.
