I'm looking for pickling lime and can't find it anywhere. Ace hardware, ACME, Shoprite and Wal-Mart do not have it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm trying to avoid ordering it.

I have found it at both Walmart and Ace, but it may be seasonal. I'd order it from Walmart, it'll take about a week to get it.

Thanks guys/gals. I was surprised when the very helpful and knowledgeable people at Wal-Mart had no know idea what I was talking about. I ended up ordering two bags online.

Good timing. I was just about to go out in search of it. I've been fighting the dreaded dinos and am going to try to raise my pH. I'm going to try walmart but will probably head to Alquatics if they don't have it.

Treating Dinos..Hydrogen peroxide worked in about a week and half for me. Cheap and easy to use. 1ml per 10 gallons.

Thanks but I must have the stuburn variety. I've been trying hydrogen peroxide for a few weeks and even upped the dosage without any luck. I tried two 3 day period of lights out and had them come back. They haven't completely overrun my tank yet but they have irritated some if my sps. I'm siphoning then daily and will probably try 5 days without lights and then a gradual ramp up next.
