As you can see I have no clue how to take pics even with a good camrea.

They are some nice zoos.
I think the flash is taking away the color of everything. My pics. turn out the same way.

He's some pics I took of Ed's tank a couple months back when I helped him with his AquaController setup. These shots were sort of "afterthoughts" and were all taken in 5 minutes or so. I only took one pic of each thing so I couldn't pick and choose between shots to upload. No tripod was used or I could have gotten better pics.

looks to me like u are trying to take to many pictures on a angle, u have to be as flat as u can with the glass turn flash off & like everyone else says use a tripod, it takes practice Edd which ever camera u have u should try using manual mode that is the only way to get to know ur camera.
u have some nice corals !

It's also helpful to turn off the pumps/powerheads so nothing is moving either. On the pics I took of his tank you can see the powerheads are on as some of the pedals are quite blurry.

Killing the flow in the tank is something a lot of people don't think about doing but can help a lot getting nice crisp pics.

Good point/idea. I'll use for all future pics.
