Went to LFS and got a filefish and a few snails. Now sanding the doors and canopy for the 125 so I can paint tomorrow and Sunday. Oh and tried convincing the wife why a Neptune Apex would make a good birthday/Christmas gift being they’re 10% off this weekend.

went to Marks at UC picked up a few things. went home and ate leftovers. sister and her husband from STL stopped by since she was in town, and chilled outside by fire pit for about 2 hours. they just left. now time for Netflix.

now I think I need to mow the lawn tomorrow. damn weather is crazy so grass keeps growing. smh

Cut grass. Put up Christmas lights. Bought some Black Friday fish (filefish, cleaner shrimp, yellow tang, sailfin tang, and a green mandarin), watched Mandalorian (Asoka was awesome!), watched UCF take down USF and just started in on some bourbon.

Not a bad day, now that I think about it. :)

Did some Christmas lights in the back of the house this morning

Cut the 2x4s, drilled pocket holes and have the frame almost done

@diana a your work looks great. Love the Craig pockets. There really is no need to change anything. But as a friendly FYI. Be aware. If you were going to carry more weight. There is a “better” way to frame a stand. I could explain it to you in 1000 words lol. But if you study the attached image. You will see the difference in how it is framed. The difference is small but it carries the weight tremendously better. And improves how the structure is tied together. Again. No need to change anything... just a friendly FYI

thanks @Sponge! I didn't get to finish it yet, and will tomorrow morning. It will be easy to remove the screws and change the position of the two vertical 2x4s. I will make the changes to verticals, insert my cut 2x4s to the upper and lower rails to keep it from twisting.

Hood catch @Sponge. It definitely helps to overlap to tie things together better. Great job so far Diana and the Craig jig is definitely a step up from face nailing/screwing.
